Tapatalk--semi-ot

I bought the Tapatalk app for my IPad and I am kind of clueless. Should I access this site through Tapatalk? Also, how do I access our chat room using the app? When I went on this site throu Tapatalk I couldn't even find the chat room... Thanks.

I dont think you can use the chat room through tapatalk.

Edit- I only use it for the iphone, idk about the ipad

I bought it at the advice of people on this forum...I went on it and not sure why it's better...can someone enlighten me on how and why I should use it. It was a $2.99 impulse purchase. lol.

It looks and feels like a PC guy trying to get even with Apple. Not the least bit intuitive.

I'm kinda curious what people like about it as well, I've used it a couple times and don't really see why anyone likes it at all...let alone all the raving about it when the new board got rolling.

Oh boy!! For an iphone it is a GODSEND!! because the regular site is too small to be functional. Tapatalk is so clean and easy and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Tapatalk is better than a hot fudge sundae with 9 cherries on top.

As for the iPad, its not that much better than the regular site because the iPad screen is big enough for regular browsing. I still use it on my iPad because I just love the dang thing so much. LOVE!

It is not as nice as the board but easy to use and allows me to check the board when I am out and about killing time with no computer. I think it is a nice addition to this board. Easy to read, easy to post. No chat room capability that I know of but that is fine with me. I use it on a Iphone. Hope you enjoy it, if not try angry birds it is only .99 and worth every penny! JMHO

Exactly. I think i hurt my eyes permanently with my iPhone and TOS. Tapatalk in 2012!!

Well, that is a lot of dessert toppings, but I agree-- Tapatalk vastly improved the board's functions on my iPhone.

Tapatalk is freaking amazing I love it it's the best thing to happen to this forum. I can read the forum without having to navigate through pictures and signatures and all the other unnecessary clutter. I do not know if I would ever visit the website again I love Tappa talk.

Thanks...I almost always use my iPad for this site, and there really is no advantage to tapatalk. But After I read this I opened up the site using tapatalk on my iPhone...and I can see why it's preferred for that. So what I've learned tonight is Tapatalk is a great thing if you're accessing this site from an iPhone...but if you solely use an iPad there's really no point.

i have an android phone too and tapatalk is a lot better than accessing the site on the net.
