And kickoff into the endzone? Can he play the slot?
The original BE basketball conference had a 2-year sit rule for in-conference transfers. Player had to sit one year per NCAA and the BE added a second to discourage the practice. Most of the conferences used to have a rule regarding intraconference transfers. I’m surprised actually that it went away. If I recall some had a 2 year rule when transfers had to sit one year.I’m old and might be misrememberingbut I also think some required permission from their original team to transfer.

We’re not really involved here ….. right ?
To be fair we named a starter before we knew he was leaving TNI'm going to assume we're not.
If we are, one would have to question why we felt the need to name a QB starter in the spring.
Clay Travis is an absolute fool.
He is a Tennessee fan, so whether you value his opinion he is pretty plugged in with the program. He led the charge to oust Schiano from being hired, so he must not be a total foolClay Travis is an absolute fool.

He's just regurgitating information he read. Only Nico and his family know how badly they screwed this up.He is a Tennessee fan, so whether you value his opinion he is pretty plugged in with the program. He led the charge to oust Schiano from being hired, so he must not be a total fool
Agreed, anyone smart enough to see Schiano would have been a bad HC can't be all bad.He is a Tennessee fan, so whether you value his opinion he is pretty plugged in with the program. He led the charge to oust Schiano from being hired, so he must not be a total fool
I dont think its unprecedentedI’ve thought about this since the news broke about Pena. If we really are interested in Nico and he is willing to come here and we can afford him. I know Fran named Collins the starter. But let’s get Nico! The caliber of these transfers entering in the spring portal (both Pena and Nico were going to be faces of their respective programs this upcoming season) is unprecedented territory. We will see, but maybe this Pena situation changes the entire calculus of how we proceed moving forward. Including a move like this.
Thanks, PopsHe's gonna go from demanding $4 million to begging for a land spot
Thanks, Pops
