The fact that we had tremble playing a hybrid defensive edge / LB role says a lot about the defense. And if we don’t have the talent, we have to adjust the scheme.

This was a big game! He led our offense to over 400 yards (minus sacks) and 24 first downs! 271 passing yards. against a top notch defense.I don't see that in big games . To slow, poor reaction time, does not read defense well.
He was the guy who caught the ball on the play that they reviewed for targeting right along the line of scrimmage.Pretty sure that was Matt Park being Matt Park. Didn't realize that Tremble switched to #82 today.
Did anyone screenshot the one play he was allegedly in?
Should be 28-4Willis had 23 carries to Nixon’s 9 but way to push a narrative.
And you know this how ??

I did think the tackling was better today. There was more wrapping up.
It's just the missed tackles end up being really glaring.
Gotcha. I didn't see any #82 in on defense, so I don't have Park's back on that.Matt Park thought he also played on defense today.
I did see it once. No idea when it was though and I dismissed it as a duplicate number or something. Very strangeGotcha. I didn't see any #82 in on defense, so I don't have Park's back on that.
Did you look in the "Fran / Players Postgame Presser" thread?
I was just thinking, if people here think Angeli was “bad” today… look at the performances of a lot of the “elite” QBs today in week 1. I thought Angeli was actually showing me decent things. Made some big plays. Don’t even mention cuse Devito reminds you’d of Angeli…. Not even closeThis was a big game! Angeli wasn’t perfect but I feel great about him leading the offense going forward.
This was not Devito vs Notre Dame. Angeli and the offense played good enough to win.
From what I’ve seen today against elite defenses, our offense looks better than Texas, Alabama and LSU
We need more power and speed at linebacker.
He did. I was at the game. It was a few series and plays.Matt Park thought he also played on defense today.
No. Way. Too good of a recruiter and culture builder.Dead serious, have to be proactive in today’s modern landscape. What’s his buyout?
Huh?UCONN looks great, they could bury us
I think it’s bc if a guy like fundess-cundiff stunts, he’s just gonna get washed out.I think another problem I’ve seen said once or twice but not talked about enough is, we don’t do stunts or anything on the d-line we play gaps which never generates pressure. Same can be said for offense Tennessee would send 4 guys and would shoot different gaps and the O-line would look lost as Angeli had a guy in his face within a second.
Trolling. Freedom of speech and all, but at some point it ceases to funny and simply sounds foolish.Could be a playoff team
