Tenny Post Game

Before this game where JC had 7 points on 8 FGA and played atrocious defense he was last of all players on the team in PER (4.4), TS% (28.8%) and BPM (-5.7).

Not last of the starters. Last of anyone that had played.

And he played every minute tonight (almost)

Never was a fan of getting Lampkin, didn’t understand why people were wound up when it looked like he might leave, and I don’t know why Cuffe can’t get minutes.
Next game would like to see Cuffe and Choppa start, but it won’t happen.

It really isn’t fun to watch SU hoops right now. It’s depressing, honestly.

I can’t even muster anger at this point. I’m ambivalent. Yuck.
Been going to games since JB was coaching the Tangerines and have never seen this level of bad basketball. Its all new to me and man it sucks.

That's exactly the feeling I had, except there was a little bit of anger for me. But I wasn't even looking forward to this game. I knew we didn't have a chance. I was just watching because of routine, not because it was any fun.

Usually there is some walk on with atrocious rate stats over a few minutes. We haven't even been able to play a walk on for a single minute this year.

Reminds me of the saying.
The opposite of love isn't hate... it's indifference.

That's where a number of us are getting close to right now.

There is no way Red can be assured another year unless there is some improvement.

So you're going to assure his return? They can't help but show some improvement over what we've seen so far ...

Throughout the course of the first 37 minutes of the game, every player that saw the court was subbed in/out at least once (most multiple times), except for Carlos. Those that got subbed out had to be for a reason (not hustling, missed assignments, poor shot selection, bad attitude, stupid mistakes, couldn’t stay in front of their man, or simply because they were tired). Carlos checked several of those boxes/reasons to be taken out but for some unknown reason stayed in. This is one of the more baffling things I have ever observed in college basketball.

Yes sir. Cuse is no longer required TV for me sadly, first time I’ve ever said that. Made to watch every game the last 25 + years religiously.

I didn’t watch the Cornell game but didn’t care.

I have a feeling the Red presser will
Piss me off too .

I usually enjoyed watching JBs pressers because at least he would rip players that played line crap even though that wasn’t popular these guys are D1 athletes

Moore is a good basketball player.
Freeman needs to be better
Lampkin might be a nice guy, he wasn't worth using that much NIL
Id say only bc of his injuries, maybe that was something we shouldve been aware of, I dont know...but a healthy Eddie would be great.
1 example I can think of though would be
take Dakota Laffew instead of JC. Which would lead to no $Eddie and then whoever we could scramble to land at Center.
Would we be better off? Probably much, but who knows and its easy to point at now.

Need to focus entirely on next year. Play guys who you think could contribute next year. We have a great recruiting class and it’s the only way to change the trajectory.

That means lots of Choppa/Freeman and hope they both stick around
