The purpose of the transfer portal was to allow players to transfer without having to be given permission by the school/coaching staff.

So, coaches who are actively working the portal looking for incoming transfers are blocking their own players from transferring out.

I think the shear amount of transfers from SU in comparison to others is a good indication that Dino is not playing games and is continuing to be a man of integrity.

Yep , being straight forward with your players could lead to more portal losses. I’m sure many coaches aren’t.

I would have thought the shenigans from the factories would be over promising transfers. Then when the music stops Alabama has promised 10 kids when they end up with 8 available spots. The 2 who get left out in the cold are screwed and Craig T. Nelson won't be there to save them with a scholarship at Cal Poly.

Lol. But also will say, agree with Dinos coaching tactics, etc or not. One thing we will not have to worry about with Dino is violations or sleaziness. Dino is as by the book, straight an arrow and as nice a dude as you’ll find.

I’m very curious to see where Markiewicz ends up. From the beginning, he seemed like such a complete wild card - such great stats in HS, but no real interest - I never knew if he would break out at SU or not. I’d love to see him get a chance at some FCS school and just tear it up.

This kid cant throw. I watched him play vs Iowa. Penn st wins that game if he completes half his passes. He was really bad. I just dont know if he's good enough to make up for the lack of talent around him.
