Wow, he was committed to Rutgers for about 45 minutes.
EIGHT commits now that have decommitted. Wow.
Is Rutgers considering everyone in the B1G a future rival?
Some are thinking Blacknall is next:

yeah... I was just going to post that
Duke who everyone applauds for their outstanding season, North Carolina Center-MEAC-FCS division, Memphis-AAC, Troy-Sun Belt, and Navy were their OOC opponents. We gave away Pitt or would have been 5-3 in ACC, and with Duke's OOC possibly 9-3. we need to stop scheduling games that are a good possibility to lose, and schedule games to win. A record of 9-3 is much better then 7-5 in the eyes of recruits, and the public at large. You don't get points in recruiting, or in perception of the public for SOS in football. We need to do as Lou C says and Duke is doing OOC, schedule to win.Why should SU play BCS opponents OOC in the future, it is such a ridiculous handicap compared to what peer programs are doing.
In the last five years SU has scheduled OOC PSU and Northwestern in 2013, Missouri, Minnesota, USC, Northwestern in 2012, Wake and USC in 2011, BC and Washington in 2010, and Minnesota, Northwestern and PSU in 2009.
Screw that, three low mid majors and a D-1AA from now on.

Problem is, we have serious attendance problems. We play 4 flogs it could get worse.

More on Fuchs
According to a source with knowledge of Fuchs' recruitment, Rutgers decided to stop recruiting Fuchs because coaches believed it wasn't a good fit. There also was a disagreement during the visit that caused the Fuchs' visit to be cut short prior to meeting with head coach Kyle Flood for the visit wrap-up. Fuchs – a mid-year qualifier – was not extended a National Letter of Intent, solidifying that he and Rutgers would not enter the Big Ten together.
What amazes me is they fire the kid's primary recruiter on the day of his official. It's amazing to me how unorganized these things can seem. I understand they're on their own timeframe but that stuff is crazy.Wow that's some serious spin there from toad hunt. This guy is a scream

Trying to drive attendance by schedule is a losing proposition. It's the ultimate lagging indicator. String together a couple of 8 and 9 win seasons, however fraudlent and a couple of star players and you'll be back averaging in the low 40's.
Take the hit and pad the total, if the team is 5-1 after six games and the yokels aren't going to care who they played, just that they have a good record.
The only thing isn't that same strategy why Minnesota has been criticized in other threads for their lack of respect nationally and within the Big 10 resulting in a bowl bid lower than their record? Just wondering.

she is a longtime SU poster, not a minny fanNo. We were killing you guys for complaining about wanting to play a "name school" at a big bowl while scheduling none in your OOC.
The obvious threading the needle schedule would be a weak-good BCS, a small conference school, and gimme vs a team like Wagner.
If you're on the rise - like you proclaim - schedule a big school like an FSU or Clemson OOC.
