I am quite sure right now Syracuse is somewhere in the 6th or 7th last at large team in the tournament. There aren’t enough opportunities for bad teams to get upsets and steal bids to knock Syracuse out.

Wichita State was above us in Palm’s bracket going into today. The awful loss to a bad Cincy team will probably drop them below us. So we end up less likely to have to play in a PIG and continue to move closer to a 10 seed, I don’t think we will get that high but it appears we are going to be a high 11 seed.

This Houston game is why Wichita winning was better. Reduces a bid stealer potential from Cincinnati.

Cincinnati can’t beat Houston. They would have a shot against Memphis.
