"Even if you don't like it, you like it. Even if you hate it, you like it."
Hearing each D-1 school will be allowed an annual budget of $150,000 they can allocate to their scholarship players as a "personal expenses" grant. No player can get more than $30K and none less than $5K. The grants will be partially funded by the millions raked in from the NCAA tourney and its properties.
Sike...that would never happen.
#3. How are you going to regulate that?
Was just about to type the same thing and you beat me to it. Definitely a concern.#3. How are you going to regulate that?
Rice remarks taking aim at UNC: "Member institutions can no longer be permitted to defend a fraud or misconduct case on the ground that all students, not just athletes, were permitted to 'benefit' from that fraud or misconduct."

"'One-and-done has to go one way or another,' Rice told the AP, expressing hope the NBA would act."
Agents have to be certified by NCAA. Use of un-certified agents disqualifies athelete.#3. How are you going to regulate that?
I went to school when freshmen were ineligable. Works just fine. At that time schools did have hard time scraping together a schedule, probably with a limited budget but can see it being easier now as conference freshmen games would pretty much fill it up.Not happy about her threats to make freshmen ineligible, or punishing schools that take one-and-dones.
