the crane the crane

If they were getting ready to shut this project down they would be dismantling the cranes to go back on trailers. The Company isn't going to have their equipment being idle there for months.
Unless of course they dont have scheduled projects lined up. Or if they cant be used anywhere because pretty much everything is shut down around the world.

FEMA is beginning to commandeer tractor trailers to move equipment around the country.

Some minor activity moving some non-truss items around on the South West side. Looks like a nice day. Hopefully they’ll at least do some prep work to allow another dual-girder day tomorrow.

It looks like their is some back stay work happening on the southeast corner.

When you look at the site, it looks like the DPW who just have a lot of people standing around doing very little. I’m not sure why the raised the cranes yesterday. They have been doing nothing.

Is there something wrong with the Live Cam I click on the arrow and get an error message?

The crew is on a scaffold and Walt just lifted something I could not determine to to them.

I see they appear to have recently put a collar on the one spiral out in the open behind Walt. Maybe it will go up today. Probably not, but maybe.

They also just got the middle back stay up for the southeast diagonal wall. I can a second is up to the east of that one. That means there is only one more back stay to put up; the one that strattles the southeast diagonal wall and the south wall.

If my math is right, 15 of the 16 back stays are now up (though some work remains to be done on a couple of them).

Let’s see if this works. These are from a week and a half ago

Amazing placement for me. On the way down to secure the bottom the shadow of the spiral on the girder was so that you could see how close it was to the girder. You couldn't tell distance from here but it was very near the girder and the op just eased it down to the base and into the scaffold at the top. Beautiful!
