Even when Duke and UNC had bad years (talking the Coach K "bad back" season, there were plenty of empty seats. Maybe Notre Dame football might be an exception?Yes especially in the college athletics realm, good point
You are correct. But in 2026, college basketball roster construction is largely based on how much NIL you can give current college and European players…..Much less about HS seniors. If you are 18 year old or less, is the Syracuse brand that meaningful to you (whether you are from Syracuse, reasonable range from Syracuse (3 hours), or if you are a fan of NCAA basketball in general)
The longer term impact of this is concerning.

I think they'd get more people showing up even when bad if things weren't so expensive. It's a way to spend a couple hours.this is how Syracuse fans voice their opinions. I know some other fanbases support through and through but this is just the way it is in this town. Win and they will come
told my daughter to put some socks in the freezer for a snow day...we are manifestingCouldn't get in my brother's driveway at 5:45 pm tonight.
And I damn near didn't get back in my own driveway after the game.
Lake Effect snow warning for 8-10 inches tonight. If people chose to stay home and watch on TV, I can't say they made the wrong decision.
