Yes especially in the college athletics realm, good pointThis is the way it is with 99% of fanbases. There's really very few exceptions.

Even when Duke and UNC had bad years (talking the Coach K "bad back" season, there were plenty of empty seats. Maybe Notre Dame football might be an exception?Yes especially in the college athletics realm, good point
You are correct. But in 2026, college basketball roster construction is largely based on how much NIL you can give current college and European players…..Much less about HS seniors. If you are 18 year old or less, is the Syracuse brand that meaningful to you (whether you are from Syracuse, reasonable range from Syracuse (3 hours), or if you are a fan of NCAA basketball in general)
The longer term impact of this is concerning.
this is rock bottom
I think they'd get more people showing up even when bad if things weren't so expensive. It's a way to spend a couple hours.this is how Syracuse fans voice their opinions. I know some other fanbases support through and through but this is just the way it is in this town. Win and they will come
told my daughter to put some socks in the freezer for a snow day...we are manifestingCouldn't get in my brother's driveway at 5:45 pm tonight.
And I damn near didn't get back in my own driveway after the game.
Lake Effect snow warning for 8-10 inches tonight. If people chose to stay home and watch on TV, I can't say they made the wrong decision.
No I would think they are a joke I would say 22 and underIf you are 18 year old or less, is the Syracuse brand that meaningful to you (whether you are from Syracuse, reasonable range from Syracuse (3 hours), or if you are a fan of NCAA basketball in general)

Wow barely anyone showed up
Could you please list the differences between Wildhack's game day atmosphere and the dome experience and Coyle's and/or TGD's game day atmosphere and the dome experience? And what makes the latter better than the former?ive never been impressed with game day atmosphere and the dome experience under the current AD. Maybe thats not his responsibility? There’s really no atmosphere anymore. Its felt dead since the Lydon final four team

Quality of the team doesn't count.
Agreed. I didn’t go and I live 18 minutes away on a normal drive. It was a complete whiteout on 690 in Baldwinsville at 6pm last night. Some who went early or right from work said they had a foot of snow on the ground when they got home. The comments about last nights attendance are stupid, the weather and roads were terrible. Many fans who have season tickets come from an hour away or more. Please exclude last nights game in the attendance complaints, only in Syracuse would thousands of people treck through the snow for a medicore team.
I had season tickets for 20 years between being a student up there and the years following that. Roads and terrible weather were never an issue when the team was winning. We’d still pack in 20k for a weeknight conference game with zero visibility outside and a foot of snow waiting upon being blown out the Dome exit doors. The comments about last nights attendance are stupid, the weather and roads were terrible. Did you walk uphill both ways?I had season tickets for 20 years between being a student up there and the years following that. It was a factor last night because this is year 5+ of mediocrity and the team was 13-11 heading into the game. If we were 20-4 going into last night, the crowd absolutely shows up.
Also midst of significant snow fall. Cars in ditches on lpool parkway. Smart people stayed home.this is how Syracuse fans voice their opinions. I know some other fanbases support through and through but this is just the way it is in this town. Win and they will come
