The Wildcat Thingy...

fooled absolutely nobody on USC's defense yesterday. It's like they all said "we know what's comin'!" Line Broyld up as an RB, let him take pitches, let him be a receiver out of the backfield. But, no more wildcat.

i think some of the options though were limited by time and place.

Actually when they used the wildcat, may end up being a good thing. At least we know AB was put in a pressure situation, backed up against the end zone, didn't panic and do something stupid, like fumble or throw an interception.

watching it again now.. the first play was blown uop because of a missed assigment. there was actually a pretty good hole but one player was unblocked.

the 2nd one was actually set up to be a huge play. the West missed his block, that made alexander switch up and he missed it trying to get down field, that left smith on his man and AB had to hold up and that block was missed as well. had they not all whiffed usc had no player left on that side of the field, its might go for a TD , USC had 7 players behind the ball

3rd down we throw to west he gets his jersey grabbed with no call and we punt.. he catches that ball and he might go as well as the safety had over jumped the play and the db ran into him..

3 plays for zip. not a bad call in reality
