Pasqualoni lost to Temple twice. They were relegated to the MAC shortly after.
And Marrone lost to UConn, and while they're not a MAC school, they're pretty much on the same level.Pasqualoni lost to Temple twice. They were relegated to the MAC shortly after.
I said the exact same thingJust saw the Bowling Green highlights on College Football scoreboard. At the end, Tessitore said "that's not good for the ACC"
Ugh.
Impeccable timing.
While we're on Go's favorite topic, it might as well be pointed out that Robinson also lost to Miami (OH).
No secrets among friends.
Maybe Robinson and Brett Bielema will be part of a trivia question one day.
The secondary had 3 picks and TD yesterday. Even the criticism of that is exaggerated.Your user name is gosu96 but I'm confused as to why that's not in sarcasm font? I mean seriously all the negativity needs to go people like you are the ones yapping your negative comments to the fair weather fans scaring them away from the dome. Everything's, yes they won but let's see what they do next week then the next then the next. Go to the basketball board if your going to start threads that are bonehead obvious thoughts . NO duh if we lost to CMU it would be a negative thing but either way besides the secondary we've seen a lot of really good things from this YOUNG team. I read this site everyday to get quality information and insight from people who actually know football and care about the program as much as I do . your comments negate the fact that you root for Su .
Just came to post the exact same thing.
Ask Randy Edsall this morning as well, especially since he got housed by three touchdowns by a MAC team.

1999 and 2011 were probably as easy.
Wake isn't very good but I think they are better than the average MAC team. They have a couple legit ACC players on both their O and D. Given all the circumstances that was a nice win yesterday. I didn't think we had that 2nd half in us.
I don't see us losing to CMU.
Haha, yeah no agenda here at all!
GoSU96 said:There's no agenda. I don't expect an SU team to lose to a MAC team, ever. And I still think its a development year and the final record isn't all that important and if they can get to six and six I'd give Shafer a big extension. Dungey has been good, like what they are trying to on offense, and if you notice elsewhere I praise the defense. So stuff the made up BS.
GoSU96 said:1999 was Toledo, CMU, and Michigan. You think that is as easy as this year? 2011 started Wake, URI, and then at USC. As easy, Really?
even if they're not sold on him, at least they're not openly rooting against him. sad. What I love is that Go is standing on that wall, making sure he can give us a hearty "I told you so" if or when Shafer doesn't get the job done here.

Go read your original post.
If you meant 3 games fine. But good lord Captain Obvious, we've been talking about this being the easiest shot at 3-0 we've ever had since the schedule was released.
Since you began this, wasn't P was the master of momentum killer losses?

Yes here we go with yet another negative thread after a really good win. We know you hate Shafer and want him to fail. We have been reading it constantly since the OL c oach of the Jags left here. We know how you feel.
Man it is going to really suck for you if Shafer has success here and ends up being better than your boy Dougie.
You mean "What" losses. Teams like Tulane, NC State...heck, he had 2 or 3 What losses in McNabb's senior season alone. We should have been undefeated going into the bowls.
With the amount of talent we had on those teams, it's unbelievable to me that we never won more than 9 games in a season. McNabb, Harrison, Johnson, Spotwood, Bulluck, Darius, Tebucky, Konrad, and on, and on, and on...and none of those McNabb teams won 10 games. Yeesh.Every McNabb year probably should have been at least a 10 win season. ECU in 95, Minnesota in 96, NC State in 97 and 98.
But it is what it is.
Cheers,
Neil
