Stop blaming the locals - every time SU has a chance to get the community involved with football they lay an egg.

10++ years of horrible home games whether it be an early season team that they should destroy or a better team when the community bought in and SU subsequently sucked.

SU is to blame more than the community - especially when many out here are posting from affluent suburbs of NYC. Boston, DC. etc and don't get "it" - the Central NY economy..

Usually when I'm watching on TV and I can hear the friction from the arms of the DLinemen waving up and down profusely as they beg the crowd to make louder cricket noises on third down, that's an indication that the energy in the building is lacking.

That's fine. Your right to do whatever you want on a thursday night in Syracuse. But it's not just about your entertainment when going to a game, it is also about supporting the program. It's going to be hard to get big time recruits to ever come here when the stadium is half empty every home game.

Very bad football. The team has been hard to watch for a long time. They hardly come out for one of the two best lacrosse teams in the history of the sport. The fans WILL NOT SHOW UP IN THIS CITY TO SEE THIS PRODUCT. Did I shout? I'm growing tired of the fans being the problem. They have laid an egg on TV 3 weeks in a row. No excuses but the team has to bring them back with their play on the field. Not the other way around.
