He would be a great hire for USC. Nice step up in weather and I am sure in pay for Tony. No offense to Nebraska but I don;t see them ever getting really good again.

He is a west coast guy now. I don’t think he ever had any interest in coming back to Syracuse.

I agree. I think John has it right. You want a guy from the Northeast to coach Syracuse. They are the ones most likely to understand the situation and be comfortable in it.

Tax implications going from Nebraska to Cali, better be at least $250k more.

My guess is a lot of the odds and ends are being sweetened by USC (living expenses, transportation, kids educational costs, etc)

I mean if you're playing Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue, Northwestern, and Wisconsin you kind of should have a top 10 defense

That’s interesting a common money vs success thing. No slight to White at all, glad he’s being paid but that’s a gig that isnt going anywhere. Nebraska just is not a great destination right now.
