Two trains of thought approaching from opposite directions

You answering the question will.
The bottom line is we all had huge expectations for this team. We shouldn't have 11 losses right now.

You like to move the goalposts.

9!!!!
They are why we've "sucked," because they impacted not only the players we couldn't recruit, but also the ones we could and did. How many good players chose not to come to Syracuse because of the sanctions, or perhaps because of the resulting loss of potency and prestige?

If we have indeed "sucked" the sanctions are why.

Could someone run that video of JB in the convertible again?

So funny. Hilarious, right?

Instead of explaining where only 6 or 7 losses were going to come from, you pivoted.
People thought we would only lose 6 or 7 games all year. Some thought 4 or 5.

People are stupid.

People also didn't know Frank's ankle would be as screwed up as it ended up being.
It's really hard to win basketball games without a functioning PG. Ask Duke.

And after going through the first page of that thread, those are the same people who had us winning both the ACC and NCAA tournaments. Those weren't realistic or serious predictions. Which is probably why you haven't bothered with an attempt at actually answering the question. So please do us all a favor and either answer the question or move on.

and the biggest impact was restricting the number of coaches su could have out recruiting by half for all or parts of three consecutive recruiting cycles. that impacted not only those cycles but future ones as well.

anyone who dismisses the significance of sanctions is simply not to be taken seriously.
We had one less coach on the road.
JB didn’t go on the road much anyway outside of AAU tournaments until after Hop left and our beat reporters from Syracuse.com had a good article as to how Syracuse was able to watch all targets even with the restriction at the the AAU events.
Not that you actually care about facts when narratives make good defenses.
