They looked at it once, and determined that it was an academic issue, and totally beyond their authority.

It was only after UNC commissioned their own independent internal report that the NCAA decided to look again.

I don't know if the NCAA is incompetent or lazy or both, but it seems they won't do the job until and unless all of the evidence is dropped into their laps.

We may have seen the end of "self reporting".

I've never seen a team that can self-destruct as easy as NC. They go in stretches where all they do is turn the ball over. Despite shooting over 65% in the second half, they are getting blown out 80-66.

Watching our game against ND I would have concluded they couldn't have beaten us once if we played 99 more times (obviously they would, but just based on that one game). I know - when I was a youngster John Cheney and Temple used to trick me all the time into picking them to make a decent run. I feel like Notre Dame is that team now.

I don't know if they ever finished top 3 in the Big East like they did this year. Tougher competition in the regular season and the tournament.

I'm not totally sure either but if they don't, I guess the moral of the story is if a "student-athlete" isn't able to do his coursework, don't do it for him, instead you should enroll him in a fake class.
