Honestly, I don't understand any glee - if that is what it is - leveled at UNC fans who love their teams, eat, drink and breathe Carolina Blue, and have had nothing whatsoever to do with any academic infractions. They are our brothers and sisters, truly! Once again, because of renegades in a program, innocent fans and players get hurt. I know many Duke fans are particularly enjoying this. All I can say is: "No man is an island, entire in himself. Every man is a part of the continent, a piece of the main. Every man's death diminishes me, for I am a part of mankind. And therefore, do not send to know for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee."

The bell is truly tolling for us already. I guess misery loves company, and I can understand the desire to see one of the truly elite programs get hammered, after what we just endured. Schadenfreud though, plain and simple. It seems very common in Western culture, and possibly elsewhere too. More of us are guilty of it than realize so, in all likelihood.
Triple B, I am dedicating the first 10 or 15 seconds(before the music starts) to you. You likely won't enjoy the rest. Anyhow, good post. I dont have anything against UNC fans, and there are certain places powdered blue looks good, but I admit I wouldn't mind the program getting punished.

shooting solves a lot of ills, hopefully Trevor, BJ, Malachi and G , etc make us a different team next year
