dumb question. Is Pietramala staying as an assistant coach so he can be on the same team as his son? I would have thought he would have taken another head coaching position by now. Anybody have any insight?

I'm not sure I see him as a HC in this day and age. Unless he has changed A LOT, which I doubt, I don't think his style of angry, screaming coaching works these days. I know you have Corrigan at ND, but I think the angry coach is a thing of the past.

Dave was the Cornell coach when I was in college. Freshman year we played them and the guy had lost his voice by the 2nd quarter. No kidding, had to hold up colored cards to signal their D scheme/offensive set.

I don't think today's players want to play for a guy who screams non-stop. Just how I see it.
