Uniform of the day...

Isn't the point of doing this "uniform of the day" thing because you have variety in the uniform? We've worn the same thing three times in four games with the one off all-orange.

Don't get me wrong, I love the traditional color combo, but why put this marketing spin on it if it's always the same thing?

At least it's better than TGD last year trying to hide the uniform combo until warm ups on game day because it was embarrassingly bad.

LMAO! This exchange had me rolling! I kept thinking, "Waaaa? I see a blue jersey, what's SUskibum talking about?!?" Cracks me up. I just had to explain to my wife why I'm losing it.

Well then I am officially color blind because I see orange/platinum/orange.

Whatever color the jersey is, I like it with the orange pant/helmet.
Dude, my wife just asked me to ask you this question: "So what color do you see when you see the platinum uni?" :eat popcorn: (Edit: just messing w/ ya. Plz take no offense.)

No, not weird. People who think "90s Champion sweatshirt gray" is an appealing color are weird.

Nothing better than Champion gray SU apparel.

I have a closet full of it.

Adding another one to the list.

Question, what is it about the rumpled sweat pants look that appeals to you. ;)

I prefer my football team not look like it was outfitted in $9.99 clearance apparel from Shirt World.

Just personal taste.

I think the orange and blue looks good against the gray.

I personally like the old school unis from the McNabb era and even the Nassib years.

Nike tried too hard with the new unis and failed miserably.

Am i the only CNYer that misses the Champion outlet store that used to be in Mattydale? That store was a goldmine.

That place was awesome. I remember picking up a Larry Johnson Charlotte Hornets jersey for pocket change. Of course, about 100 other people probably did the same.

And it was probably spelled JONSON.. or had some other defect lol. Alot of the stuff was without defect it was still funny to see the mistakes.

I always thought the uniform mix of our old, traditional unis and LSU's traditional unis was very good.

Notice how FOS Joe Namath is about our offensive line, which had been starting together for two years, despite what class they were in. They were the big reason we went 21-2-1 over those two years- with two different QBs. I( agree with him about fullbacks, though.

I love those. Along with the mesh jerseys. We should bring those out once a year.

But for the new age jerseys, what we have now is pretty good.
