There are few things in life stupider than betting on your favorite team. You should only bet on games which you have zero emotional investment.

In fairness, our games against USF in the mid-2000's don't really have any bearing on the outcome of today's game -- both teams have completely different personnel.

If we play USF 10 times, we probably split with them. We're both mediocre teams that will have to fight and claw to make a bowl game. If we hold them on that critical 3rd and 14 where we missed four tackles we absolutely could have won.
