Better then 619 O-Linemen
9 of them are Freshmen or Redshirt Freshmen but still, that's got to be enough, hopefully.

17 on scholarship and Elmore is back to FB. Plus all are reportedly healthy.19 O-Linemen

The WR group is a big question mark for me. Harris is the clear #1. And Queeley looks like the clear #2, at least based off how he looked last year. For a position with 14 players on the roster, hopefully there are at least 2 guys that step up. Need much more than just Harris and Q, but I see a lot of inexperience in that position.
The running backs are a different story.
The BusHough 255!!!!! Damn
LB looks thin to me... Freshman will need to step and at least play specials...
I get your concern, Im sure you are thinking some big bodies will stop people from being able to run at us. Its a common thought for everyone. You have to understand that 320 pound 1 tech's get manhandled too. Every 4-3 defensive roster has 300 pound interior lineman. Do they all stop the run? No. There is two ways to control gaps. You can do it by having a big body sit and anchor or you can have faster athletic bodies stunting and moving. Movement causes just as many problems. If not more. Even on short yardage goal line plays. Most important thing is keeping gap integrity. You are not guaranteed to have that in any scheme. In your mind, it makes you feel better that we have big DT's. I get it but Ive seen first hand how big slow DT's can screw up this scheme. We are gonna give up rushing yards at times. We also will have the chance to shut down some good rushing teams. That's what this scheme allows you to do. It gives you more options to stop teams that try to impose their will.Agree with your point overall, and it is great to see. The one area that continues to stick out to me is the lack of size on the DL. Before the posts and lectures pour in, YES I understand that is by design. YES I understand 3-3-5 prioritizes speed and quickness at the DL. YES, I get all that.
Still concerned about DL play. I think we need a run stuffing 1 tech. I can't dismiss visions of the DL getting manhandled consistently last year in all 4 quarters (yes, more so as the O went 3 and out time after time after time) . I am hopeful that the returning super seniors will in fact make a big difference. I know money3189 has expressed confidence in the DL and I do take comfort in his opinion.
A returning very good WR at 1 spot, Queeley is promising and should be better.Taj made an impact as a true Frosh WR, converted from QB in HS.
Gotta imagine/hope/pray that at least one of the new WR's can do similar.
And - I still think Courtney can be a good one for us.
I think one of the freshman receivers is going to be a factor early. They all have excellent size. The WR group is a big question mark for me. Harris is the clear #1. I learned the hard way that you can try to lie about gaining an inch or two but the truth always comes outI'll tell you what. I dont trust some of these heights. No way all these guys are gaining a inch or two. lol
Not sure we do not have depthYeah I'm a little more worried about depth at LB than DL with Kpogba gone. White likes to rotate a lot which helps cut down the risk of injury to guys, but the depth needs to be better

That’s two deep plus not including the three true freshman. all these guys were on the team last year.
I will only root for him if he ends up at Louisville with Hassan Hall and Jawhar Jordan.I know he was a walk-on but too bad the Ja'Tarie Washington kid is no longer on the team, I thought he could be pretty good down the line once he recovered from injury(hopefully he can still recover and be successful elsewhere)
Scholarship player. -Cundiff wasn't on his name when he was being recruited.Where and when did we pick up Fuentes-Cundiff. I see that he is a Freshman but wasn’t sure if he got a scholarship or was a walk on. Either way it helps our depth issue at D line.
He was one of our better DL commits in 2021 class. Bronx. Cardinal Hayes kid. We battle rutgers and BC right down to the end of his decision.Where and when did we pick up Fuentes-Cundiff. Thank you for the detailed reply. I fully appreciate and understand (you'll have to take my word for that) the points you are making. I do not think it's as simple as "having some big bodies" to stop the run or for gap integrity. But, there is no question in my mind that there is a big disparity in DL talent compared to the rest of the ACC apart from maybe Duke. Further, size is definitely part of the equation in my mind, but I am not talking about size without talent and strength.I get your concern, Im sure you are thinking some big bodies will stop people from being able to run at us. According to the Lehigh 2020 roster website, Erik Larsen was an OLB who regularly played. So he may provide additional depth at LB position. Not sure we do not have depth

100 % agreed. Who gets the credit here is my question. Did Dino update his thinking and want bigger or is this the results of a new O-line coach and what he is attempting to do/built?Biggest thing that sticks out to me are the o-line weights. Barclay up to 290! Cruz coming in at 295! And our 2 Hawaiian guys are big mofos, 365 is a little heavy, try to get him down to 340 but he’s a mauler from the videos I remember seeing. I really like the future of the o-line tbh. I think we have some players there. I really like our receivers we brought in this year too, I think one of them makes a big splash year 1. Also watch out for Simmons the kid from New Mexico State. I think he plays a lot of downs for us this year.
Why does that matter?100 % agreed. Who gets the credit here is my question. Did Dino update his thinking and want bigger or is this the results of a new O-line coach and what he is attempting to do/built?
This is exactly one of the reasons why you go with this type of scheme. It puts longer athletic bodies on the LOS. That’s what helps neutralize the disparity.a big disparity in DL talent compared to the rest of the ACC apart from maybe Duke. Further, size is definitely part of the equation in my mind,
