Really need Duke and SMU to win Friday. Pitt on Saturday.

If Cal or NC State can steal one great.

Hold serve the rest, and of course, a Syracuse win!

SMU makes QB switch

Stone had -18 yards of offense
New QB Jennings gets 72 first drive

SMU not really bringing it tonight

SMU is supposed to beat dark horse and they're switching QBs mid game? Not impressed

Their OL was getting absolutely abused early on.

They switched to a mobile QB and he has helped them find some success but their OL has been very poor

BYU ML a nice lil start to the weekend

Ponies not built for this P4 chit. Yet.

SMU stinks they looked worse against Nevada. The whole Sonny Dykes offense is gone they don't even play that fast and the WRs and line are pedestrian. Both QBs looked shaky.

They got jobbed on the overturned fumble. but their QB is not good. Defense was solid.

Somebody on this board watched their bowl game vs. BC last year and said BC overpowered them in the trenches and beat them up.

We have Stanford at least. The ACC is good this year. It won't get credit because other than Miami there probably isn't a great team. But there don't seem to be any horrible teams
I think FSU and SMU are pretty horrible

Our worst conference opponent is probably Stanford. The rest of the games in conference are actually pretty tough. Not sure how our SOS was ranked so badly
I guess no P4 OOC plus no Clemson or FSU. In reality our schedule could well be a lot tougher this year. I mean, UNLV is better than Purdue last year I think and in the ACC Pitt and BC seem stronger, then toss in Ga Tech, Miami, NC State, Va Tech, a second West Coast trip at Cal. Not easy.

Northwestern coaches outsmart themselves on 3rd and short in OT, QB runs out wide and loses 10 yards then they can’t convert on 4th down. Their RB was tearing it up, give him the ball up the middle. Dumb dumb

Duke holds on. Murphy will be one of the better QBs in the league this year.
Dude needs to learn how to throw a touch pass. Every pass is a fastball from him. Made great throws when it mattered though

As always preseason pontificating from "experts" based off name, tradition, or prior years without any sampling to look at with actual visual and data backing points
