Does the clock stop instantly the second a player scores on a play like that? Or do they wait for the signal - which sometimes takes a few seconds?

Even if the signal is immediate, there’s some human reaction time.

This one should be over, IMO.

I don’t understand all the Sam Hartman love.

He’s the NCAA equivalent of Kirk Cousins to me.

Solid, decent but not exceptional.

(Fully acknowledge this post may look very dumb later tonight or this season)

I wouldn't put this loss on him. He was 16/24 for 183 yards and 1 TD to no picks. Now ESPN just changed it to 17/25 for 174 yards. Still solid enough.

When you have too balanced of an attack it chews up a lot of time and makes it a lower scoring game. 39 rushing attempts for Notre Dame compared to 25 passes.

Notre Dame are the Cowboys of College football. Preseason expectations sky high every year, always lose the big ones.
