Their D has looked awful at times but yes they are the best in the Coastal. ND wasn't competive either garbage time points after going down 30+ don't really count.

Everyone they have played except Notre Dame is bad. The first 3 games shouldn't even count as credit to bowl eligibility.
Those teams are in conferences which barely are Division 1.
