Either I continue to enjoy my favorite sporting time of the year or there will be a serious black cloud over the next couple of weeks. Please. Go Cuse

Sounds like me. Once we are out of the post season I stop watching NCAA hoops. If we are still going I watch as many games as I can.

I'll still watch just with no where near the same interest level. And seldom will I catch any game in its entirety once Syracuse is out. As long as they're alive I'm all in on as many games as I can catch.

This team could make a run in the NIT. At least it's an opportunity to keep watching the team.

Ditto. Ill still watch but not as much and not the same interest.

Ncaa tournament is by far my favorite sporting event of the year, especially the opening weekend. No cuse puts a huuuuuuge damper on it.

Let's hope Coon dog has been getting some heavy electrostimulation in the cold tub.

And here I thought we had got rid of the NIT is better crowd during the Great Purge of 05.

who said the NIT is better? If the team does not make the tournament, I'll at least get to watch them in the NIT. Is there something controversial about that idea? The point is, today is not the last game no matter what.

Will you not watch the team in the NIT?

In all liklihood not, those games aren't televised where I live. And anyway, I don't have any interest in the NIT. It's like if you win, BFD, you should have. And if you get beaten ...:noidea:

Controversial, is a word which I suppose could be used .

Personally, Id replace it with the phrase 'fluckin stoopid', for that makes more sense.

Blown out in Dayton > nit

To each their own.

If the games are not televised, I guess there is nothing you can do about that; otherwise I don't know why you would not be compelled to watch your favorite team matched up against similar opponents. It's a chance to watch young players develop and seniors end their college careers. It's nothing like watching the NCAA tournament, but it is better than nothing in my opinion.

The mere thought of nit game watching, implies such.
that is odd logic. I want this to team to make the NCAA tournament. If they don't, I will watch them play in the NIT; as will most fans on this board. You are making some pretty reckless inferences.

No I'm not.

Just pointing out stupid defeatist comments.

Enjoy.

I gave that a like because you're certainly a pretty loyal fan. But around here, NIT just doesn't wash. Just saying ... :noidea:

What shall it be guys??...

donnienit or nitdonnie??

You are obviously just trolling me. I'll stop taking the bait. Let's Go Orange!

I'm with you. Syracuse hoops > no Syracuse hoops.

NCAA tournament, NIT, CBI, Canadian exhibition tour, or if they played against the Jamaican bobsled team, I'm still watching and rooting for them.

SU basketball is all I have in sports, I stopped watching baseball back in the late 2000, the NFL bores me, and I usually watch one or two NBA games a week but don't root for any teams in particular. When our basketball teams season ends I'm pretty much done until next year. If we don't make it, I'm with you lets make a NIT run and enjoy watching these guys.
