Sounds familiar. I'm a lot older than you, graduated SU in 1967, so a lot of these places were after my time, although I did go to Plaza Grill several times.

yeah, it was newer...especially compared to the grill whos been there for like 100 years. it was an abandoned building going south from the grill that they turned into a decent sized pub around 1990. was part of the revitalization of downtown spurred by the Knick.
