What I dont get about benny is why he isnt going strong to the rim. The guy is a specimen and needs to use his god given athletic abilities. His turnaround jumpers arent whats going to get him to the league. How did he score in high school?

He scored from everywhere. I hope he gets it figured out this year, because he has the skill to score from anywhere in college.

He did attack the basket better today, but he settles for the short jumper instead of powering to the rim.
Does this mean the coaching staff is terrible at recruiting HS players and offering scholarships to HS players or the coaching isn’t good at player development?

It doesn’t have to be one or the other. Every year there are plenty of top 50 players who don’t pan out or take a year or two to pan out. It’s not an exact science.

You haven’t a clue..do you? He doesn’t need to stop taking care of his kids to dig up high school rankings to appease you. You would think any college basketball fan would know that there are MULTIPLE high ranked kids over the years that never made it big in college ball. You really didn’t know that?
I don’t know that missing on a recruit that most teams in the country would of taken makes you terrible at recruiting. Obviously something ain’t right with this kid, looks like he never played any type of organized basketball.

I am sick of fans ripping the people who don’t get paid. The coaching staff gets paid. If this is busting and i like the kid its the coaching staff that gets the blame either they misevaluated the kid or they have done a terrible job using the kid.
This staff decided to only recruit 1 HS kid, this staff decided to go into the season with Jimmy, Cole, and Benny as the rotation for forwards.
If Benny is struggling then the staff did a terrible job building the roster.
This stuff is on the coaching staff.
Really? Was Jesse good his freshman year? Is he good now? Is that coaching? Your arguments are brutally bad.
This is a buildup to what is allowed to be said and what isn’t.
If people want to rip Benny supporters then the people who brought Benny in should be fair game.
Post the top 35 recruits you talked about. Jesse wasn’t a top 35 recruit and elite recruit.
My arguments are not bad. You don’t like them. That is not the same thing.

It's been a real treat watching him improve seemingly every game. Most impactful defensive player, and a really good offensive repertoire and feel. There's some monster games to come.

People can rip anyone they want, but because a recruit looks totally lost doesn’t mean you are terrible at recruiting.Benny could be having some kind of anxiety issues for all we know.
I said either bad at Evaluating HS talent or developing talent. Benny doesn’t get the same rope other players and that affects player development. When one mistake gets you pulled it hurts confidence.
I am not putting the blame on Benny.
Can’t believe you’re not a high profile college basketball coach with this knowledge.
I think it’s more than one mistake that’s getting him pulled. Benny like I said looks completely out of sorts and has no idea where he is supposed to be or what he is supposed to be doing.I feel almost embarrassed for him every time he steps on the court.Hopefully someone is checking on him and his mental health because something ain’t right.

This isn’t even worth wasting anything more on. I challenge you to prove my comment wrong. You won’t. Instead you attempted to move the goalposts with a comment on Jesse which made no sense and then go to this low hanging fruit.
Actually do the research and counter me next time. Others have you won’t.
