We have a hole in the middle and no shooters in the backcourt.
Do we miss Jesse or Joe the most?

Yup. Jesse. Without a doubt. He's averaging over 15 ppg and over 10 rpg. McLeod has underperformed.

I'm a big JG3 fan, but his 12.3 ppg and 40% from 3 is nice, but JJ is putting up the same points and more versatile on defense.

Plus we might have JJ next season and Joe would be out of eligibility.

Jesse and not particularly close. Having a solidified 5 and allowing Maliq to stay at the 4 would eliminate a lot of the rebounding issues and as a result would vastly improve our defense. Our D is only a problem when it comes to giving up 2nd/3rd chance points.

McLeod is actually playing better this year than he did at Florida State looking at the stats.

“Versatile on” is a weird way to spell “doesn’t play”

Jesse. Joe’s shooting would be nice but could only do so much for this team.

Jesse would be a total game changer. We have almost nothing inside right now. McLeod can block shots if guys run right at him. That’s pretty much it. Jesse could board, score, pass a little, block shots, play good positional defense, etc.

Jesse for sure. Is Justin taylor
Could get a shot off in under 5 minutes we wouldn’t need Joe but he would thrive at the 2 in this style of play. If Taylor isn’t an offensive threat then he has zero reason to be on the floor

Watching Jesse play UVA now. He’s even better than last year, a true late bloomer. Cuse would be so much better with him.
Just put it on after watching Maui, what is up with the camera angles and the production. C'mon FS1.

I disagree, he’s the only dude who has interest in playing defense.

Has he though? I never understood why people on this board were hyping him up. He did little at FSU.
McLeod has been about as expected. He’s slow and lumbering, and lacks aggressiveness so his ceiling is only so high. He’s blocked some shots but we sorely miss a rebounder and threat inside.

I say Jesse. And how much better would Jesse be, getting to stay near the basket instead of chasing corner threes?

What we are missing are shooters and rebounders, not Jesse and Joe. We have more than enough athletes. Good teams know how to share the ball and can make shots. We have not done this in a long time

Jesse obviously. Big men don't grow on trees, and Naheem has a long long way to go and doesn't have a lot of fire to him. Starling is much better going to the basket than JG3, but Starling was also supposed to be a good shooter—or at least decent. So far he's been atrocious. A far cry from where he was in high school. I really hope he can turn it around.
