There is a reason the SuperSonics left Seattle.
This might be one of the most ignorant things to reality that has ever been posted on the board.

The Sonics left Seattle because Howard Schultz sold the team to a guy who wanted to move the team to OKC when he bought it.
Clay Bennett was an Oklahoma oil man who bought the team and he used the fact Seattle taxpayers wouldn’t pay for a new arena to move the team to Oklahoma City. He was always leaving Seattle and it had nothing to do with Seattle he wanted a team in his home state.

The whole affair HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE NOTION would leave the Washington Huskies job.

Seattle is a major city and center of technology with many major corporations and none of those people stepped up to keep the team there? That doesn't seem like much support. These are also the people who run UW.

Other than Hughes would anyone of our players start for Washington?

Hughes over Hamir Wright and that's about it.

Buddy would probably get limited minutes, Marek probably very little if any. Girard no, Sidibe no. Could see Gurrrier getting some run though.

Agreed. Buddy Guerrier Joe Marek wouldn't start. I actually think Marek could be sixth man for Hop and Buddy would also get some run.

Washington’s downfall will be wing play. Green, Stewart and Daniels will show out in March. Wright Carter are good athletes...not great players.

Ironically, Buddy would be a very good 6th-7th man on the Huskies. He’d stretch defenders and open up the paint.

I agree with Wright, but Carter is a pretty good player at this point. He's shooting 40% or around there from 3. His turnovers are a bit high but outside of that he's turned into a basketball player after the last couple of years.

Buddy would be a great 5th option or 6th man on Cuse.

If you give this team Triche and Fab (2 very reasonable recent players to give to a team) this is a title contender - especially this year.

Or Dion Waiters/Rak

Outside of McDaniel, every one of UW's starters were going to be a good fit at SU.

Realistically, Buddy is made for that role. He's the kind of guy that could turn a good team into a really good team.

For those like me who didn't see the game.

They do run the same zone, but their man is a switching man to man, which I've never seen us run. Their man is much better than their zone.

There are and I doubt you know most of them. The arena is in a terrible location in relation to getting in and out to the neighborhoods you would want. The place was old with bad luxury boxes and the ownership owned none of the parking and land around there which is a huge source of revenue. The Oklahoma guy bought the team and made it clear he was moving them unless he was given an ungodly amount of money from taxpayers during the height of our last recession.

Washington is playing almost all M2M vs Ball St. tonight, except for out of bounds plays. (Remember that?)

Imposing its superior athleticism and not letting a lesser team dictate tempo.

Quade Green is playing very very well.

It was awesome to see the in-game adjustments Hop made. UW started in the zone and BSU was playing them even (20-20) by moving the ball on the perimeter and getting open looks. Hop changed to m2m and keyed in on El-Amin who started 3-3 from 3 point range. They alternated Green and Carter on him and the kid didn't get another clean look from beyond the arc the rest of the game. And the m2m really changed the tempo of the game.

Quade Green had a slow start to the season but he has been great the last 4 games. 25:6 Ast:TO ratio, 18.5 ppg, 63% from three.
