I've seen this guy with the beard at most of the recent games. He was shown tonight right behind Derrek Coleman. Do you know who he is?

Thanks! Now that you mention it I recall having seen his picture before. I appreciate your help.

looks more like dirty than scoop

DC and scoop's dad with quadrauple rapid fire quasi-high 5 after a scoop 3 pointer made me smile...

Yep. Btw does anyone love cuse hoops more than DC? It's like he was raised in Solvay. Nothing amps me more than the proverbial DC in a suit fist pump/ear to ear grin shot.

I love the camera shots of DC in the crowd going nuts and pumping everyone up.

Agree on seeing DC. I find myself going crazy when he's excited. Matter of fact, I walked into the Garden right behind DC, and he was hootin' & hollerin' up the runways... one of the biggest fans we have!

Scoop's dad is awesome...spent the whole game with him and Scoop's grandma at the RAC in '08. Scoop's grandma told me she basically raised Scoop, Dion and Ricky...His grandma was awesome; she was on the court for the Senior Day celebration.

Scoop's dad kept yelling at Scoop, "make foul shots" whenever he'd miss one. You could see Scoop cringe. Great stuff.

I feel like someone asks this question every game

I spent a two hour train ride up from Philly to the Garden this November with Scoops Grandfather and a few other of his Uncle's and friends. They were awesome and very glad to talk about Syracuse and Scoop. They asked me to help them get to the Garden and were very happy that I was able to help. Good family.

He sat right in front of my father and I yesterday during the Wisconsin game.

Great guy...although it would be probably be more accurate to say that he DIDN'T sit during the game! That's okay--he had a lot to cheer for.

I love it so much because most high profile alums of high profile teams act too-cool-for-school when they're at a game.

DC is so freakin' into it, it's flat out awesome.

Forgot to post this, but checkout who I got to sit next too at the final game of season against the Ville in my rather 'pedestrian' seats... Sad part is, no one else in our section seemed to recognize him...

He still holds the Carrier Dome record for rebounds in a game, with 23 in a game against Georgetown.

He must of picked up the tix off a broker site w/o calling in a favor to JB... otherwise, he wouldn't be sitting in right field with me!

Saw him at the BE tourney during halftime of the Cincy game. Someone asked if he was 7-feet tall. He responded, "Yes, I'm 7 feet tall."

Yeah - he said he was heading down there next with wife and kid.

I'm 6' and was standing on the bench to take pic... forgot how big the guy is... He's a beast...

I played against him in the league...oh, the Onondaga North League that is. I let him block my shot a few times.

I posted the same question a few days ago thought it would be Southerlands dad or something. Looks like he could suit up on the wing for us.
:D
