Why is brown on the bench!

Brown - 2 rebounds, 5 minutes

Benny - 4 in 40

It’s amazing.
I understand that JB has a plan for Benny and bell but brown is just better at what the team needs right now

Maliq obviously insulted somebody’s mother and he’s paying for it.

Yeah, those three should be mixing it up - but I’ve got to say - Benny takes offense to the other team making a three - he’s saving Girards ass covering the top side of the arc and Bell might not seem to do a lot but he has confidence in his shot - but those three have to be interchanged all game

Gimme a lineup of Girard, Mintz, Bell, Brown, Edwards and lets work. Brown has made some sneaky nice passes from big to big this season. He's our best rebounding forward and gives us the most upside defensively too. Already think Bell might be our best offensive forward. Benny is a mess, I feel for the kid.

If Benny could buy into being Terrence Roberts instead of Carmelo Anthony that would be a start. Then when he has his feel under him he can expand his game. Maybe we saw a hint of it today, just maybe. He was scrapping a few times out there. But honestly, I stick by my statement that I think he may be one of the worst performing players I have ever seen start at Cuse.

David patrick and michael edwards. they were probably worse. But it's difficult to compare because those other two guys had players in different stratospheres playing along side them, so maybe they just seemed worse than Benny.

Maybe you're right, I don't remember them in enough detail. I just consider the relative positive impact (virtually zero), and the amount of times things end up unproductive or negative when they are involved in a play (for Benny that is about 83% of the time). And he played 40 minutes tonight!!!

its not so much that he plays, its that he is the focal point of the offense on out of bounds plays down the stretch apparently.
