I enjoy your posts and your point is taken. But Gerg should have been fired in year 2 and not firing him was a colossal mistake. We still haven’t fully recovered from the Gerg era. P’s record seems like a lifetime ago and we still aren’t back at the Coach P orange standard and it’s been 20 years. The farther we get from the Boeheim glory days standard because of patience and contracts, the harder it’s going to be to return there someday. Call me harsh I don’t care but I’ve seen what I need to from Red and am confident that he is not the answer.Name any coach in any sport in the history of Syracuse University Athletics that has been fired after two years.
