It is so obvious Autry is a poor coach. We know how it will end. The question is if Wildhack has enough guts to make the change before a complete cratering. There is no hard and fast rule you need to wait three years when it’s so obvious

Exactly how I feel. I was emotionless for the final minute of that game. Expected to lose and wasn’t upset when we did. Thank god for Fran. Football has definitely taken over my emotional battery because it matters again. After two weeks this basketball season was over.

Sadly I too share this opinion. I don't have expectations of Wildhack unless the building is a crypt the rest of the games.

This is attitude I don’t understand (not in an attacking way). Once it becomes clear that a guy (you are paying millions of dollars to to lead a flagship athletic program) isn’t a good coach and is taking you further from success, how does it benefit the program to be loyal to him at the expense of potentially being good again?

I’d love to eat these words, but the record at the end of the year is going to be ugly, in a turrible ACC. I don’t think letting Red go at that point is going to scare off the kind of coach we need to get.

This is a turbulent time in college sports, Syracuse really can’t afford to be one of the worst power conference basketball teams multiple years in a row, we’ve been irrelevant long enough (how many years since we’ve been ranked?)

I hate absolutes, so when you say there is ZERO chance Red can succeed, I have a problem with that.

Red’s a good man; a loyal alum, player and coach. He’s also a really good recruiter, but I just think this job is too much for him. I always get Dino vibes watching him coach.

Why does he deserve a third year? You can't see that someone is awful at his job and go oh well he deserves a third year. Like why he has been a terrible head coach. What is the third year going to do beside pay him more money. If SU wants to give him money then just give him money.

By all accounts he is a very good man and a good high school recruiter. He hasn't proven he is a even a decent coach in any regard.

This is absolutely Brutal, the week before the game this felt like the rivalry is dead, then with 15 mins left it felt as alive as ever, and it makes this loss unacceptable. This team should have never lost to Georgetown at home when, this Georgetown team got boat raced by ND at home blown out by WVU.
