At a cursory glance it seemed they alternated quarters. Pass protection on the blindside was far better with Dave W out there. My guess is he's just too gimpy to play a significant amount of time.
Looks like he’s got a bad shoulderWeatherspoon has been really bad. I expected so much more from him.Major disappointment.
Yeah, dude's definitely not 100%< and he was better earlier in the year. It's not a coincidence.Looks like he’s got a bad shoulder

It drives me nuts when teams try to play guys who are truly injured (not just pain)Looks like he’s got a bad shoulder
Why not play Clement, Villari, Mang to the side to help or just play another guy. Too many empty sets with protection issues unless you are going to get rid of it early. It drives me nuts when teams try to play guys who are truly injured (not just pain)
Fast guys with busted knees aren't fast, strong guys with busted shoulders aren't strong, who are they trying to kid?

Completely agree. I would like the media to ask about this. Almost every time lqa is not back to block they get to McCord and sack him or cause him to rush the throw. Every team brings pressure as soon as they see empty backfield. I just don’t understand why they don’t go to a fullback or vallari as a second running back to block if you want lqa to still come out of the backfield. If you give McCord a little time he will find an open receiver. Also would help to open holes for the running game. Why not play Clement, Villari, Mang to the side to help or just play another guy. Maybe we promised to start him? I dunno, in this portal era there’s gotta be some assurances being given to guys. The way we manage the OL makes me think assurances were given to some guys. Why not play Clement, Villari, Mang to the side to help or just play another guy. Those assurances can't include when the guy has one armMaybe we promised to start him? I dunno, in this portal era there’s gotta be some assurances being given to guys. The way we manage the OL makes me think assurances were given to some guys.
What about a peg leg? Those assurances can't include when the guy has one arm
Staff still likes Cruz. I think Adam Terry said the coaches like Cruz but he developed a lot of bad habits playing too early in his career. If he comes back Enrique will be competing too. If he’s not at tackle at guard seems possible. Also Joe Cruz looked decent at guard. Really need a center Reed is gone and Josh I isn’t the answer.Spoon is a good player but clear he's battling injury. More curious to see the off-season battle because it seems like Wohlabaugh and Spoon will be the starters next season just which side is TBD.
OL will (and should be) a cage match this spring. Staff is clearly stocking up at the position.Staff still likes Cruz. Number one off-season priority should be getting a quarterback. Number two has to be offensive line. Invest funds in the offense. I like glimpses I have seen of Ross and Willis. Would love to see more Gill to get an idea of his long term potential. There are good building blocks. Buy a line and a decent QB and the offense should be solid again. I honestly would rather lose like we did on Saturday than 16-12 rock fights.OL will (and should be) a cage match this spring. Staff is clearly stocking up at the position.
I believe Enrique's plans include a Masters from Newhouse. He is set to get his degree this year and is strongly considering a fifth year here. All subject to change, of course, particularly if a school with a strong communications program near his hometown were to become involved but last time we talked he was all in on Coach Fran and very focused on academics.Staff still likes Cruz. I wouldn't blame him one bit if NW came calling with a Masters from Medill. Excellent school.I believe Enrique's plans include a Masters from Newhouse. That all being said, it would be nice to see him get a few snaps in the last three games and bowl. Coah mentioned him and Joe specifically in his presser last week, along with Heard, as players he needed to get on the field.

We did send him out weeks back for spoon and he got murdered 2 x in a row and he was a really high end kid i thought. Great kid though so im hoping he comes back like an animal.I believe Enrique's plans include a Masters from Newhouse.
