Okay. what are you going to do about it? I mean instead of whining? you going to call the A.D. tomorrow? You can get some money together and help buy jb out? Or are you just going to keep on posting the same thing over and over again?
Considering I live on an educators salary and I don't have Johns number. I am going to vent on here like most fans do.

a little misleading. he didn't lose Q he could come back if he isn't what the pros are looking for. He didn't lose Marek. He just wants to move on. Sid might be back. So, who did he lose? he lost guys that weren't starting. Braswell, JBA and Kadary. With Frank and Woody probably still to come. 5 non starters. of the group, only Kadary is a big, big loss. I like Braswell a lot. Wished he stayed. It's not a good thing for the program. But I think schools are losing starters all over the place. Let alone subs.

Be honest what is going on. Coming off a Sweet 16 shouldn't lose that many including Frank and Woody. Do these guys not see all the available minutes with the departures already. Explain we just went to the Sweet 16.

Alan griffin says Hi. i don't feel like going over the rest of the transfers. The transfer in team is a lot better than the transfer out team. And I don't spin with this crap. I have given facts and many here haven't liked it. Like others who have given up giving information, it is time for me to stop as well. The board can go back to calling for the coaches head and how we have hit rock bottom.
I think thats a good call. My Dad used to be pretty wired but the flack about information wasn't worth it. Your info has always been rock solid. For once i wish it had been off as i felt we could survive losing any of the players other than Buddy Edwards and Kadary. This has been a terrible year for so many and these kids have been through a ton.
In the past the kids really had to think about leaving as sitting out a year is a huge decision. In addition they got to be kids and enjoy college. Have a break from the coaches and the grind. Not so this year which i believe magnified the negatives. Weather, lack of PT, JB whatever.. Bottom line it was tough and Jims handling of the roster and of his relationship with his players doesn't seem like it helped but rather hurt.
Lets hope Jim pulls a miracle and retains and attracts some good players. Thanks for your info it will be missed.

It’s Brian. Of course he’s going to post the same thing over and over.

So, if a student, a very promising student, says I don't want to have Brian as a teacher. i'm leaving this school. And by the way, in this world, that isn't so far fetched as we know. It would be your fault?

You are comparing apples to oranges.

KC, I wanted to be wrong more than anything. I also want to be wrong about us not putting in the effort to get kids that could put us over the top. But as in the first case, I don't think I will be. I think we will be better than the board thinks next year. But I don't think the incoming portal is going to impress many. Including me.

Why ask me? You said I think yesterday that I didn't know what was going on?

Gutierrez tweet got me stirred. I apologize Dasher. We just went to the Sweet 16. Then I see Florida who went one round out earlier than us has lost 5 guys already. What is going on is this all mainly to do with the new free for all transfer rule. But then why would Woody Frank leave with all these open minutes now. I apologize I didnt want to think Kadary could leave made no sense with how he playing in crunch time.

I get it.

People also should understand that JB leaving combined with a small, private school in upstate by that has never really opened the wallet in a big way for a coach, that is out-of-place in a southern conference (that in and of itself hasn’t been very good the past few years), might end up having a tough time cranking it back up to the level of the first half of the 2010s. Could happen with the right hire. The future for programs like ours could be much closer to Indiana or UCLA (prior to this run) than to Michigan or Bama (assuming oats is around).

I could be wrong, but for everyone who hates JB — and lots of folks do, let’s face it — I actually hope they right and the only issue we have is a 76-year-old coach who’s lost something off the fastball. I truly, genuinely hope that’s the correct narrative.
They’ll blame JB if his replacement is a failure. And they’ll continue to blame JB until we have success again. Then it will be, “It took X many years to clean up JB’s mess.”

Even if Hop winds up being JB’s replacement and doesn’t succeed, they’ll blame JB.

Okay. It really all comes down to the grass is greener. People don't want to wait anymore. I saw it when I was in the corporate world. i think a lot of kids leaving are going to end up being very disappointed.

But why all of these guys with more to come when minutes are available. We just went to the Sweet 16 do these guys not care. Also if Jimmy comes in I worry about a program culture of nepotism if these guys already know hes coming which no way should no. I'm worried the nepotism culture in the program is playing a factor like I suspected mid season.

I know we are saying how many starters are leaving and also that every team is going through this, but to lose this many players is a bit concerning from a program culture standpoint. Having three players return two of whom are seen as Boeheims favorites does not look to good especially from a recruiting perspective which I’m sure every coach is pounding into our recruits heads which seems to be working since we have one commit for the next two classes.

Man I miss the days of the board arguing if taking any transfer was a good idea and now it looks like half our team next year will be portal players.

Where are the assistants in all this ? Jb is going to say nobody is bigger than the program even if right now he has 3 returning players.

I agree...there just too many guys leaving and only so many good situations for them to land. Its going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.

When JB leaves the cupboards bare, he should absolutely be blamed
