Class of 2020 WR Chris Long (NJ) Decommitted

Which then becomes a game of how to distribute. You hate to leave that kind of speed on the sidelines and you have potentially LA, Willis and Nixon returning. So can coach Nixon work a 4 to 6 plays per game "speed package" for James to get some opportunities beyond kick returns?
Agreed. Fastest player on the roster.
You cannot sell me on the non- use of James who ran the fastest 100M in NJ history and a 4.21 40 but is used strictly on ST. Of course, the coaches may have wanted to introduce Malachi to football that way, but I'd like to see him with a ball in his hands outrunning the D.

If there is 1 position that I am currently not worried about depth or talent it is at the WR position.

In the Bowl Game his speed didn’t really jump out like I thought it would in person. Assume he was healthy. He really should have taken one to the house with his speed. Perhaps his speed just doesn’t translate to football as we expect.

Scholarship on a 1 year rental that hasn’t produced in 4 years at Rutgers? Doesn’t make sense? Either save it for an experienced guy who has produced, or makes me feel they may not be too confident on the young WR’s on the roster.
everything worked out. Strange pick up to begin with.
