Gillon has no chance against this defense. The way they pressure the ball-handler on screens = Gillon simply can't get his shot off. Only hope is to not give Gillon a screen and just hope he can just get into the paint.

I'm not blaming Gillon who they are keying on and Roberson, who shouldn't be involved in incessant pick and rolls, is being used in an idiotic way.

UVA is 6/14 from 2 and we're 6/11.

We're both 1/2 from the line.

That was tough - you have to expect that Gillon will be up and down, we've seen enough to know that, but Lydon can't be so unproductive. He looks tentative, and just missing shots on top of it.

We've played UVA for 180 minutes (4.5 games) since joining the ACC. They have outplayed us for 172 of those minutes.

UVA fans have to want to shoot themselves that it was the worst possible 8 minutes that we could have outplayed them.

Agreed - but we have a few good looks from 3 that we've missed.

That being said, coming back from 12 down vs. this team will be tough - but we did in March and Nova did it last week so it's possible. If we cut down the 2nd chance points and get Lydon more involved we'll stay in it.
