You are a mets fan right?...pot meet kettle...
If that is the case then the mets would be decades away?
It has nothing to do with anything, we get it the Mets are bad, but they were in the World Series last year and the playoffs last year, the Yankees haven't done anything lately.
Are you sure you want to compare histories?
Of course not, we all know how much superior the Yankees are, Im just talking about right now and the last couple of years.
The last couple years neither team has won a championship...right now the Yankees have a better record...so...
The Mets have been more successful the past couple of years, the Mets are having a bad year, right now the Yankees are 4 games over 500, having a nice season, nothing special. I still think the Mets have a pretty bright future.

2012 Yanks in ALCS.
you guys went from 06-14 without any playoffs.
then
2015 WS
2016 1 game WC
shall we compare the gap years???
or you just going to walk away from the 'recent success tilts Mets' comment without a fight??...
Gotta love his stubbornness for staying with the last two years argument, although it might not be stubbornness...maybe futility as that is the only argument he has?
So what? Big deal...hasn't meant a championship...when was the Mets last championship? When was the Yankees? See I can play that game too...all I have to do is change the parameters a bit, except it doesn't take much changing for the Yankees to come out ahead.
The difference this year is that mets were expected to do better they haven't...the Yankees weren't expected to do as well as they have...which would you rather be?
I am well aware of how bad the mets history is, this year I would rather be the yankees, but I wouldn't be stunned if the Mets won 90 games next year.
So you came into the Yankees thread and all you got is the mets have had the better last two years and they might win 90 games next year? Just making sure I got it correct...
I didn't come to the Yankee thread to talk about the Mets at all, you brought it up, all I said was the Yankees aren't a championship team.
Works for me. Yanks had too many Tylers. It was confusing John Sterling.
wonder if Mike Ford doesn't get hurt if this trade still happens??Works for me. Yanks had too many Tylers. It was confusing John Sterling.
