I said it was more important for us to tank for next years draft and Emoni Bates being all compared to the next Lebron. We have a PG of our future already in Quickley.
 
I am not on the tanking or anti-Thibs train but Mitchell Robinson is the most important player on the roster. Let's hope it was immature frustration and a professional lesson. Not winning doesn't attract free agents but alienating young talent and going 500 isn't the most appealing look either.

Winning attracts free agents. Great players want to be coached hard.

No offense but isn't this exactly what you get when you hire Thibs? He seems to be one of the most polarizing coaches out there and a lot of NBA players don't like him. NBA is a players league... good luck succeeding with a hard ass coach.

I think that is Cuse runner's point. Knicks needed some structure and professionalism which he seems to be giving them. Does it work long term ... we shall see. I do know this - there are more Thibs out there than Mitchell Robinson's.

Mitchell is a nice player to build around. He's not a star and if he's that upset over some hard coaching that's not a good sign.

Were not going to win games. We are not going to win a championship we are going to be a middling team back end of playoffs or just miss playoffs which is the worse place to be. Why not be bad and tank for back to back drafts with generational prospects going number 1.

Why bother? The NBA conspires to keep the Knicks from getting number 1 anyway, right?
