I woke my wife up after the guy stole second and Chapman almost hit the guy to go 3 and 1. She looked at the TV saw the Yankees playing and said, "is Chapman pitching again"? Boy does she know me, and Chapman for that matter.

Apart from the occasional game, Gallo, Rizzo and DJ haven't looked good at the plate for awhile. If this were Stanton or Sanchez, Michael Kay would be all aghast and sounding the alarms, and proclaiming that this wasn't acceptable.

Hard to believe the attendance was only 8k last night.
Every Yankee road game I’ve ever been at usually has 4 or 5 thousand Yankee fans in the stands.Never been to Oakland, but on TV it looked like plenty of Yankee supporters in the seats.

I’m a big Montgomery fan, but sometimes (like right now) I think WAR is a made up stat where someone just plugs numbers for fun.

WAR is one way of looking at it, but if the Yanks are only 12-10 in Cole’s starts how much more valuable is he than say Judge?
I’m not sure those are correct numbers, but I heard a stat that said Yanks were somewhere near .500 in his starts.
