I know there's plenty of time for some of our guys to bolt but I feel good that there hasn't been any announcements from any of our current players. Portal is crazy!

I’m not taking sides on individual players. I just think the biggest weakness on this team this year was rebounding. And every player at the positions was given a ton of opportunities to demonstrate they could fill that role - Every one of them. And no one was able to grab what was a clear path to playing time. So we had musical chairs all season long.

Regardless of who plays next year, my advice would be: You want playing time? Get us some rebounds.

You can teach shooting at least, can't teach size/athleticism.

Will Taylor/Benny/Copeland/Bell/Brown all come back? If they do can we even add a starter at the portal? Forwards are interesting now we have our 2G.

I don’t foresee JJ coming back, I think he and Mintz are too similar and I highly doubt JJ intends to find a place where he only plays 18-20 minutes a game.

I think Syracuse will chase a tall and fast 2 guard with a quality 3pt% to compliment Judah’s slashing ability (could end up being bell or Justin but I think Justin is still a year away). While I think Judah will improve his shooting, I don’t think he will become a high volume guy from behind the line so a good shooter for the 2 is critical.

What does that mean exactly? He's "greyed out" and no longer available in the actual portal program (which I picture to be a BASIC program with nothing but ASCII characters connected to a dot matrix printer and a 1200 baud modem)?

As much as the JJ news is exciting, I'm thoroughly waiting/on the edge of my seat for the Center that we get to transfer in. I know guards are so important in our program but having a good center just helps so much

A Mintz/Starling backcourt is a headache to match up against on its own. I really liked what we saw from Cope, Benny and Brown over the course of the year ( later on for Benny and Cope) too so that's 3 more nice pieces. Benny's 3 pt shot was the most consistent finishing out the year of pretty much anyone.

It's amazing though if we can get Judah and JJ locked in how much potential that could unlock.

JJ and Judah would only be the best guard tandem in the ACC.

Lol I’ll gladly eat my words on this but Jesse isnt coming back. He said his goodbyes at the Dome, cant earn NIL and can easily head home and play pro ball there if he cant make into the nba/g league. His position coach told his best friend this. Sooo yeah idk. I would love for him to come back

Jesse CAN earn NIL while on our overseas trip this summer.

Kentucky pulled this off for onea their guys.

Jesse’s GF is now a coach on the Cuse Field Hockey team.

I think getting Dong and and maybe even Akok (portaling??) would be a great way to make up for the loss of Ajok.
