Mike Jones!?Would expect that one to be all but wrapped up with Mike Jones to Maryland today. Recruiting the DMV just got much harder.

Wasn't he already recruiting that area for Va Tech? Why would it be harder?Would expect that one to be all but wrapped up with Mike Jones to Maryland today. Recruiting the DMV just got much harder.
Fair question but MD is closer and perceived as a better program in that area than Vtech is.Wasn't he already recruiting that area for Va Tech? Why would it be harder?
And MD has that UA money.Fair question but MD is closer and perceived as a better program in that area than Vtech is.
Haha I’m not sure UA even has UA money right nowAnd MD has that UA money.
I would say the opposite. I think Dickinson as an NBA power forward is a complete non-starter. He's bigger than most NBA centers as is and is less athletic than most of them too. Playing another big man with him in college may work just because their size would overwhelm most opponents, but it wouldn't help his draft prospects in any way IMO. His only path to NBA success is proving that he can survive defensively as a center, likely in drop schemes where his athletic weaknesses can be hidden a bit more.If Dickinson wants to use next season as an NBA audition then he should do so on a team where he will get burn at the four next to a center who plays at the rim and in a league that isn't the Big 10. We fit that.
I hope we are involved.
He is what he is. He is unlikely to improve his draft stock next year regardless of where he plays (assuming he stays in school). He won’t show NBA teams anything new.I would say the opposite. Didnt imply you were referring to the Cuse. I was comparing the recent hire of Syracuse’s new assistant coach who is an Experienced recruiter, has deep DMV Ties and has ties to former Team Takeover players who are looking to transfer.Ok? What I was saying had nothing to do with Cuse
I would tend to agree. The only two things I think he could theoretically get more opportunities for to try to improve his draft stock would be (1) showing more than just flashes of passing, being more like a Sabonis type of offensive hub than a post-up scorer that occasionally passes and (2) significantly upping the 3 point attempts while continuing to be a knockdown shooter. He is what he is. Especially if his goal is to win a championship. Something the Big10 hasn’t done in 24 years.Interesting if he stays in the Big 10.
If Red is the right man for the job we should be confident that we’ll secure our fair share of a-list targets. This off season - for better or worse - May be a foreshadowing of his longevity on the hill.First it was Pitino at St Johns that will make recruiting NYC much harder, now this guy to Maryland will make the DMV harder. I guess we'll just have to recruit kids from portugal...
Wouldn’t it be easier to just start listing players not in the portal?
He’s going to get a nice bag from wherever he ends up
In the history of the portal has any player transferred back to their original school?Jalen Carey in the portal. Dad good friends with Red. Just saying.
Wahab (and then again)In the history of the portal has any player transferred back to their original school?
Yes. Didn't Qudus Wahab? Siena might have a guard transfer back.In the history of the portal has any player transferred back to their original school?
