One of my least favorite golfers ever. Putting with a broomstick doesn't help. If it is so great why aren't more using it.

That said, he has had a phenomenal senior tour career.

Dont mind him as a person from what I know about him, but damn he is a slow player.

I keep searching for some vestige of human emotion from Cantlay. In vain.
Of course , not necessarily a bad trait in golf. Have him and J Thomas on fan duel. Adam Scott is my super long shot.

A co-worker went to the practice round Monday. He said the course was in great shape and that the rough is very thick and was giving the players a lot of trouble.

Some of the players have been complaining about how cold it is. The high today in Rochester was 50. And it was windy. Yes, it was pretty uncomfortable.

Highs for the next 4 days are forecast to be 64, 77, 64 and 71. It is supposed to be sunny except for Saturday, when there is an 80% chance of rain.

Believe with the PGA being played in May now, northern courses will no longer be considered as venues for PGA tournaments. Oak Hill was named before the schedule change so they let them host one last time.

That is silly. May in upstate NY is fine for golf. I would rather played in 65 or 70 degree weather than play in 85 degree weather at Southern Hills or some other place down south.

Watching Live From The PGA on The Golf Channel, some guy tossed a ball into the rough about 5 feet off the fairway. You couldn't see the ball until the camera was straight above it. Whoever hits the most fairways off the tee will likely come out ahead.

I don't disagree, but the word is they're expecting a frost delay Thursday morning. But I don't think it's going to be a big deal. Still, late Thursday & early Friday would seem to be the better draw.

I wasn’t picking winners. I was picking entertainment

So was I. Entertainment is relative. :)

errata: I'll toss Keith Mitchell in there. I love watching him swing.

It’s gonna be close with frost delay. 37° right now at 5:30am.

I went yesterday. Was frigid with the wind. The rough is thick like everyone said.

I heard a few players next to the putting green complaining about how cold it was. There’s no way we get this tourney again IMO

Edit: Frost delay official

It's too bad about the cold weather and Saturday is calling for rain most of the day. The course is beautiful. Long with a lot of uphill, elevated greens. The rough is very dense and lush, about 3 inches consistently through the course. Not a blade out of place. Most of the bunkers are deep with talcum powder sand. TV does not do justice for how incredible this course is. The holes are extremely challenging with not many holes that will be gimmes. But, except for the rough, not too many natural challenges such as trees or water. The winner might be who ever leads in driving accuracy or greens in regulation. As simple as that statement is.
