Yeah 11-1 Indiana, assuming that is where they finish, isn’t going to the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. Penn State’s resume isn’t even as good as ours(not saying we are a playoff team) and they are considered a lock at 11-1, so IU should be as well

Nobody knows anything till Tuesday night and how the committee ranks losses (and wins) to middle of the pack conference teams. I hope indiana is rewarded more for its convincing wins than Penn state.

It's almost like every reporters computer has some bug where when they type Syracuse into bowl projections, it auto corrects to Pinstripe bowl no matte what they type in.

We could be undefeated right now and I think half the projections would still list the Pinstripe bowl

ESPN guys are split, one has us playing Tulane in the Fenway Bowl, the other has us playing Wisconsin in the Pinstripe. I think 8 wins is the only way to avoid either of these

Going to be really hard to get a warm weather bowl with so many teams in the ACC likely being bowl eligible.

That’s another Cuse issue. Just like the old Big East days when we got screwed out of bowl games in favor of larger fan bases that traveled better like West Virginia or Virginia Tech, unless we have a truly special season in the ACC we’ll get relegated to the Pinstripe. We managed to stay out of Fenway last year. Let’s hope we avoid that fate again. But, yeah, a premier bowl will be tough this year. I’m hoping McCord and our offense is appealing to a selection committee. Sun Bowl v. UCLA as posted above would be a great outcome.

Oh yes, remember 2001? We beat Va Tech head to head on the road, finished two games ahead of them in the conference and had a better overall record as well, and they got the Gator Bowl while we got sent to Arizona for the Insight which was lower down the list of bowls

I was at that game. We played a 6-5 Kansas St team. The game was at Baseball Dome...terrible sightlines.

I'm surprised that a week after the BC loss there aren't more Fenway, Pinstripe projections. I thought the BC loss would have doomed us.
