He can say whatever he wants after Miami. The regular season is over, there’s not really anything stopping them from coming out and saying they’re going to opt out of the bowl game.

maybe its just me but in today's game i fully expect every single person who could opt out to opt out. i hate it but that is the reality of the sport right now. Its why the NIT for basketball is soon to be dead and buried because noone will opt in to play in that tournament

Does the Holiday Bowl really payout $6.5 million? That's the latest figure I was able to find from a couple of years ago. Obviously, if SU doesn't sell out its ticket allotment, that will cut into the amount they get.

Follow me here, CB44 was responding to someone who said McCord wasn't going to play no matter what. But that's not what McCord actually said. So the person who said that is essentially saying that McCord lied when he said that he had to wait to see where and who we play.

Okay, never mind, here's a more recent article with a bowl official saying it's closer to $2.75-3 million per team. Pretty good when the first round participants of the CFP get $4 million.

Me too, although candidly if what I read is true about the snapdragon playing field then I’m not sure I’d risk my NFL career on it vs Wazzu. Really hope nobody going to the league gets hurt

Absolutely. Everyone wants them to play but in the end it rarely happens. And “think” they all are playing as opposed to definitely all are playing are two different things
