With our luck Sellars will transfer to whichever school Beck lands. If only we had an elite recruiter who could go after a QB in the southeast that was once committed to us….Presumably, his path to starting at SC next year might be impacted by this potential transfer -
I know I have never ever successfully guessed on what recruits to bring into the portal versus enjoying the surprise of getting the likes of who we got.If only we had an elite recruiter who could go after a QB in the southeast that was once committed to us….Presumably, his path to starting at SC next year might be impacted by this potential transfer -
He won’t be at SU without BeckWith our luck Sellars will transfer to whichever school Beck lands.
Nebraska HC Matt Rhule on transfer portal QBs today:There's dozens of good QBs in the portal. Staff will find someone.

"Make no mistake: a good quarterback in the portal costs $1 million to $1.5 million to $2 million right now. So just so we’re on the same page, right? Let’s make sure we all understand what’s happening. There are some teams that have $6-7 million players playing for them.”
I don't believe that's entirely true.Nebraska HC Matt Rhule on transfer portal QBs today:

I liked him when I saw him play last year. He might be a tough get. I dont mind them going after the Slufka kid. He's from NY. IMO there's only like 16-20 schools who actually have the resources/boosters like this.Nebraska HC Matt Rhule on transfer portal QBs today:

Correct. Florida State apparently spent roughly $10M on NIL each of the last two years. Not too many schools are paying $6M for a QB if the total budget toward the top is $10M.IMO there's only like 16-20 schools who actually have the resources/boosters like this.
Yepp. I read on an LSU board that Deuce Chestnut received $250K in NIL. No idea if its true... In hoops? 100 D1 coaches said the average is $200-$400k for a 10 point guy. Well over 400 for a baller.IMO there's only like 16-20 schools who actually have the resources/boosters like this.
I feel sorry for these kids because I am sure 99% of them have received zero tax planning guidance. It’s been a couple of years since NIL was implemented, I bet 1-2 years from now we will start hearing cases of kids getting audited by the IRS and being accused of either not paying taxes at all or committing unintentional tax fraud because they were never provided proper guidance around planning.Remember these numbers are all over inflated tooo
There’s no one accounting for the money and the money is dealt individually to the player so it’s not verifiable by the school.
Anyone can make up a number of what they are being paid.
The ones that are getting paid the most are the ones that have national brands to their names. Not necessarily because they are that school.

Its verifiable by the amount given by collectives. This does NOT count any company deals, cars, etc...Remember these numbers are all over inflated tooo
