Some other positives.
Wake beat NC State. Toledo gave Ohio State a run for it's money(no pun intended), so now the Syracuse players can show some focus and not look ahead to that team whose helmets sparkle in the sun like the ruby slippers in the Wizard of Oz. (Coincidence? I think not.)
Pitt only beat Maine by 6 at home. Louisville lost at home to FIU.
Nassib - 29/37 - 318 yards, 3TD's and 1 early pick.
Let's also remeber that this was Rhode Island's first game of the season. They had all summer to look at Syracuse and put together a game plan. Plus look at some of the insane catches they had to pull in.

We beat a gritty, fresh URI team that had a hell of a QB and WR, when we had several key injuries and made a ton of stupid penalties. It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it.
