All I can say about NCST is that Kelvin Harmon made Ryan Finley look good and I hope we never have to see him again.

I was originally going to argue for Dungey over Finley, then I looked at the stats. While Dungey does more with his feet, there is no denying that Finley is a much more accomplished passer.

Dungey had 4 less throwing TD's and one less passing TD, dungey has 14 more rushing TD's, if your talking about the best QB overall its either trevor lawrence or eric dungey, I don't get all the love for finley I've watched him play for 3 years now theirs absolutely nothing that stands out, doesn't have a huge arm doesn't make big time NFL throws he isn't mobile, I think he slides quite a bit in the draft.

What a joke! Dungey had 10 more touchdowns than Finley and 9 more than Trevor Lawrence. He had less than 100 fewer total yards than Finley and more total yards than Lawrence by 700-800. It truly shows the bias of the ACC sports media to have Dungey as the third team quarterback while he was leading the team they all picked to finish last and having better total stats. At the end of the day the goal is to score touchdowns and Dungey did that incredibly well.

Congrats to Lawrence and Finley for having better completion percentages and QB ratings, neither of them are remotely the threat Dungey is on the ground and Dungey's passing stats are not far enough off for them to really hinder him. Utterly ridiculous...

If you put ryan finley on syracuse maybe you have 6 wins, trevor lawrence probably 8-9, you put dungey on NC State they win 11 games, put him on clemson they still win 12. I get putting lawrence over him, dungy out dueled him in the game and is flat out a better college QB than Ryan Finley

Trevor Lawrence should be first team, Dungey second team and Finley third team. He's nothing special for a college QB and i don't see how NFL teams view him as a first round pick, he has BUST written all over him.

I’ll say the same thing about Lawrence vs Dungey as I did Finley vs Dungey. It’s college. Yes Lawrence is a better passer, but there’s a huge difference with the legs. Dungey was 14th in the conference for rushing and was 3rd!! In the conference for rushing TDS. 3rd. That can’t be discounted. Sunshine ran for but 1 TD and like 100yds for the year. Plus Dungey is tough as nails and has the IT factor.

He was the best overall QB in the league.

Harmon is a much better NFL prospect imo and made Finley look good. Imagine if Dungey had Harmon as a target the last 3 years?

I think the voters really blew it not naming Dungey to the first team. Getting named third team all conference is an embarrassment. No way Finley, who is a good, not great college QB, belongs there in front of him.

Fredrick didn't even get HM? Sigh.

It is good to see a little more respect for Syracuse players this season.

Certainly Eric did more for his team than Finley did for his team this year.

Finley is the better pro prospect and the better passer, but Eric Dungey was the most valuable QB and probably the most valuable player in the ACC this season.

Not to beat the dead horse, but the fact Dungey isn't 1st team All-ACC is a crime.

Trevor Lawrence is a good, young QB, but plays on a team stacked with NFL talent.

Ryan Finley has a monster arm, but lost the head-to-head showdown against Dungey this year.

Dungey is hands down the most valuable player in the whole conference for his team.

Not only should he have been 1st team QB, he should also be Player of the Year.

Not even really debatable when you start factoring everything into it.

Very happy for those rightly acknowledged. I think if players and coaches where polled, you would see a few players represented differently. I think ED was maybe partially hurt by a narrative in the media post Pittsburgh I believe that Dungy may not start moving forward (was debated board discussion as well) and TD was going to play. Coaches were asked that during game week. Even though that didn't happen, I wonder if that had any influence. I really wish Slayton received more love...that's one example where if coaches chimed in, I think they would have conveyed a different opinion. Again congrats to those on Cuse who were recognized. I hope ED has a jaw dropping bowl performance wherever we play as a parting shot at those who voted.

Lawrence is a better QB than Dungey. I just think Dungey’s performance, given what Syracuse has, was more impressive this year. I mean Dungey nearly took you guys down and your defense is all over these “all acc” teams. He smacked NC state and BC. All in all thought he was the mvp of the ACC on the offensive side of the football, him/Harmon/Etienne.
