The most egregious note on the First Team is Andre Szmyt. 180 is a unanimous First Team selection and he received 165. He’s leading the nation with 141 points and 28 FGs. He has 44 ( ) more points than the next highest kicker in the ACC. Unbelievable.

He deserves it too. Had a hell of a game against us to earn that win in the 4th quarter and he was hard to stop last year as well.

I get Dungey for second team, I dont see first team though. Finley is a better QB. Also, Devito arguably beat FSU and NC. Dungey, of course, was great against NC State and BC, and more than held his own against Clemson. I didnt see Pitt, but the stats arent pretty.

I think Finley's the better player. He had more total yards. Dungey did account for 32 TDs. That's 11 more than Finley.

Agree, I don't really care. I mean, yeah, Dungey at 3rd team is kinda laughable, but we had some others get recognized that surprised me. Not that they don't deserve it, but we just always fall so far below the radar on this stuff.

The only thing I worry about is the potential travesty upcoming if NC State gets Orlando over us. It would just be wrong.

Problem with the ACC is it is a North Carolina centric conference and you are going to get the media homers voting for their boys on Tobacco Road. Same with the announcers on the ACC Network. Hoping the NEW ACC Network hires some Northeast announcers and changes up its sponsors for I am tired of Bojangles, the NC Credit Union, etc.

Trevor Lawrence should be first team, Dungey second team and Finley third team. He's nothing special for a college QB and i don't see how NFL teams view him as a first round pick, he has BUST written all over him.

He could be a great NFL player. But, the first team looks an awful lot like the pre-season first team, just a lot of inertia I think. Cisco made it bc his nation leading interception total could not be ignored.

TD's aren't important. It's the total yards at the end of the game that count. Who cares about pts.? They only decide that other unimportant thing. Wins. There were pts for both guys but Eric did more with less than Finley did. I honestly think Finley got it because he was the guy before the year and he played in North Carolina.

Beautiful thrower, but man did he get rattled with some pressure in his face. Not very mobile... to me, wreaks of a dime a dozen NFL Guy that is way overvalued going into the draft.
